Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred
  • proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and phone systems
  • ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm in a busy environment
  • ability to lift 5-40 lbs and push wheelchairs as needed
  • prolonged sitting with occasional walking and standing
  • professional, dependable, and approachable
  • compassionate and empathetic with strong customer service instincts
  • adaptable and proactive in solving day-to-day challenges

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong organizational and clerical abilities
  • proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and phone systems

Job Duties

  • greet and welcome guests, residents, and families as soon as they arrive
  • direct visitors to the appropriate person or department
  • answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • provide accurate information in person, by phone, or via email
  • maintain a tidy, professional, and welcoming reception area
  • ensure smooth front-desk operations and professional communication with staff and visitors
