Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • One year experience as a general receptionist
  • Experience with computers
  • Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work well with diverse populations
  • Knowledge of age, disability and cultural specifics in communication
  • Good physical and mental health with empathetic attitude
  • Ability to work under close supervision
  • Completion of CPR certification and Oceans approved behavioral health de-escalation program
  • Ability to cope with pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries
  • Ability to work predominantly indoors with variable temperature conditions
  • Ability to manage interruptions and stress
  • Positive attitude toward client dignity and worth

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Answer switchboard and assist in other clerical tasks as needed by administrative personnel
  • Answer phones with appropriate etiquette and operate switchboard with timeliness
  • Display a willingness to help others and seek solutions to problems
  • Display commitment to customers and organization
  • Deal constructively with stress, take direction well, accept constructive criticism, and respond accordingly
  • Use appropriate customer etiquette
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned
