Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous office or receptionist experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Emotional maturity and ability to handle emergency situations
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and software
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
- Ability to work flexible hours if required
Job Qualifications
- Ability to get along with a diverse array of people in different capacities
- Professional telephone skills and demeanor
- Ability to read, write and speak fluent English
- Diplomatic and able to set professional boundaries and firm limits with callers
- Ability to work as a team player, yet independently, with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of property management desirable
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to provide superior service with excellent verbal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Answer telephones, receive messages and screen calls
- Respond to emergency situations if alone or as directed by Property Manager
- Handle all resident inquiries or requests according to policy and procedures
- Make out work orders for apartments or complex repairs and file paperwork
- Enforce building policies and house rules
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Set up accounting files and keep filing up-to-date
- Other office support tasks as assigned
