  • Ability to maintain a calm and supportive demeanor under pressure

Job Duties

  • Attend all mandatory in-services by the employee's anniversary date
  • Act appropriately under the direction of the Administrator and be an active member of the interdisciplinary team
  • Demonstrate ability to adjust to changes in unit/shift assignments to meet facility needs
  • Provide clerical support to the Administrator and respective disciplines
  • Assist with answering phones, running facility errands, and maintaining personnel files
  • Demonstrate responsibility for purchasing and accounts payable for all departments
  • Update and preserve all current facility contracts
  • Maintain and update all physician licensure, credentials and insurance information
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance program when performing work functions
  • Be aware of, and adhere to, Resident's Bill of Rights and Confidentiality of Resident Information
  • Interact with residents, family members, co-workers, clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive and calm manner
  • Address family satisfaction issues immediately and assist in resolving matters professionally
  • Be aware of Resident Abuse Reporting Law
  • Participate in the orientation of new staff and demonstrate a positive, helpful and enthusiastic attitude
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis as well as a calm environment throughout the facility
  • Exhibit patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, and handle residents based on their current maturity level
