  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 0-2 years receptionist or administrative support experience required
  • ability to perform work accurately and completely in a timely manner

Job Duties

  • Operates telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and forward calls internally as appropriate
  • greets visitors, determines nature and purpose of visit, notifies employees of visitors, and directs or escorts visitors to specific destinations
  • performs routine administrative support tasks such as filing, printing, collating, mailing, distributing mail and documents, and supporting the office
  • provides routine information about the company and assists in resolving routine questions and complaints
  • schedules appointments, updates calendars, and manages conference room reservations
  • helps train new or backup receptionists on front-desk best practices and processes
  • provides support for meeting and event planning
  • supports new employee equipment setup
  • demonstrates commitment to customer satisfaction by being courteous and responsive
