Job Duties
- Operates telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and forward calls internally as appropriate
- greets visitors, determines nature and purpose of visit, notifies employees of visitors, and directs or escorts visitors to specific destinations
- performs routine administrative support tasks such as filing, printing, collating, mailing, distributing mail and documents, and supporting the office
- provides routine information about the company and assists in resolving routine questions and complaints
- schedules appointments, updates calendars, and manages conference room reservations
- helps train new or backup receptionists on front-desk best practices and processes
- provides support for meeting and event planning
- supports new employee equipment setup
- demonstrates commitment to customer satisfaction by being courteous and responsive
