Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Successful completion of post-offer physical examination
- Completion of 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis
- Acceptable criminal background clearance
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance if position requires driving
- Willingness to work with adults with disabilities
- Maintenance of certifications throughout employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified or able to obtain within 60 days
- One year of receptionist or related experience preferred
- Knowledge of typing at least 50 WPM
- Excellent public relations and communication skills
- Courses in typing, word processing, and general office procedures preferred
Job Duties
- Operates phone console by answering incoming calls and relaying them
- Greets visitors and provides direction as needed
- Serves as central communication post during emergencies
- Issues badges and keys to authorized personnel
- Maintains daily cash and check log
- Receives, sorts, stamps, and distributes incoming mail
- Schedules pre-placement physical exams and processes background checks
