Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service or healthcare settings
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in computer software and electronic health records
- Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion
- Flexibility to work at different locations if required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in medical front desk or patient services preferred
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong telephone and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of healthcare operations and scheduling software
Job Duties
- Greet patients and visitors at the health center
- Schedule and verify appointments using approved guidelines
- Check patient insurance eligibility and notify of conflicts
- Collect and record patient payments including co-payments
- Update and maintain accurate patient records in the Electronic Health Record system
- Communicate appointment reminders and service delays to patients
- Reconcile daily cash drawers and patient payment records
