Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service or healthcare settings
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Proficiency in computer software and electronic health records
  • Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion
  • Flexibility to work at different locations if required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in medical front desk or patient services preferred
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong telephone and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations and scheduling software

Job Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors at the health center
  • Schedule and verify appointments using approved guidelines
  • Check patient insurance eligibility and notify of conflicts
  • Collect and record patient payments including co-payments
  • Update and maintain accurate patient records in the Electronic Health Record system
  • Communicate appointment reminders and service delays to patients
  • Reconcile daily cash drawers and patient payment records
