Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in patient services or medical front desk preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements
  • Ability to use computers and software such as Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Commitment to professional and ethical standards

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service or healthcare administrative roles preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of medical scheduling and insurance verification processes preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors and manage front desk operations
  • Schedule and confirm medical and clinical appointments using approved templates
  • Verify insurance eligibility and payment methods
  • Collect and record patient payments and co-payments
  • Update and maintain accurate patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
  • Communicate appointment reminders and service delays to patients
  • Assist patients with enrollment in state programs and complete required documentation
