Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in patient services or medical front desk preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements
- Ability to use computers and software such as Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Commitment to professional and ethical standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service or healthcare administrative roles preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism
- Knowledge of medical scheduling and insurance verification processes preferred
Job Duties
- Greet patients and visitors and manage front desk operations
- Schedule and confirm medical and clinical appointments using approved templates
- Verify insurance eligibility and payment methods
- Collect and record patient payments and co-payments
- Update and maintain accurate patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Communicate appointment reminders and service delays to patients
- Assist patients with enrollment in state programs and complete required documentation
