Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- two years' relevant office, receptionist, or secretarial experience
- good communication skills
- knowledge of electronic office systems including MS Office
- knowledge of Oracle preferred

Job Duties
- Monitors MDC security access buzzer
- greets visitors to the MDC, directs them to sign in, advises staff of their arrival, and escorts/directs them to appropriate locations
- answers phones in a pleasant, courteous and professional manner and transfers calls to appropriate staff
- handles routine inquiries related to the home-delivered meal program and consumer calls regarding meal deliveries
- reviews service orders for changes to meal care plans and writes up order slips or cancellations
- records information related to changes to consumer meal deliveries, problems, and other issues in the consumer's record
- plans for, coordinates, and tracks requests for consumer meal pickup by care managers or relatives/friends
- receives, date stamps, and distributes incoming mail and inter-office materials
- routes outgoing mail and communications appropriately
- photocopies and faxes documents as needed
- accepts delivery of small packages and equipment
- copies printed materials for distribution to consumers, color-coding them by route/area and sorting by delivery day
- assists in reviewing redeliveries for missed meals and writes them up for the following day
- handles retro-active meal plan orders and completes same-day meal delivery slips
- performs miscellaneous clerical duties such as collating, stapling, folding, stuffing envelopes, and filing
- provides back-up for dispatch in Transportation office
- provides back-up for MDC Program Coordinator and Administrative Assistant in their absence
- performs other general administrative and program duties as assigned
