Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in administrative or receptionist role preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills including familiarity with office software
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Friendly and approachable manner

Job Duties

  • Check the appointment calendar and ensure residents are ready for appointments
  • Coordinate with transportation aid for resident appointments - make copies of resident's current physician's orders, progress sheets, and insurance cards (when appropriate)
  • place and have ready to send with residents
  • Monitor front door and assist residents and visitors
  • Answer the facility telephone number when necessary
  • Keep proper clerical supplies for Nurses' Station
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Director of Nursing, Charge Nurse, or Administrator
