Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to two years of experience in a front office or administrative position
  • ability to handle and prioritize multiple competing tasks
  • excellent telephone and verbal communication skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • capability to operate office equipment such as facsimile and photocopy machine
  • regular attendance and punctuality
  • ability to occasionally work overtime including weekends
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to two years experience in a front office or administrative position

Job Duties

  • Professionally greets all visitors and callers
  • assists individuals directly or directs them to the appropriate person, division, or department
  • sorts and distributes incoming mail
  • prepares outgoing mail and correspondence
  • provides administrative support including telephone coverage, copier projects, mail handling, filing, and supplies control
  • prepares daily paperwork and administrative assignments such as memos, charts, spreadsheets, and reports
  • schedules and organizes meetings, travel, and special events
  • makes travel arrangements and prepares/submits expense claims
  • works independently and as part of a team on special and ongoing projects
