Job Requirements

  • One year of clerical experience in office setting
  • Proficient keyboarding skills
  • Effective organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow written instructions and operate multi-line phone system

Job Duties

  • Manage all front office traffic including late students, parents, and visitors
  • Ensure each visitor has appropriate credentials to enter the campus and pick up students
  • Utilize PowerSchool to locate student schedules for parent pick-ups
  • Communicate with teachers regarding student pick-ups
  • Direct visitors to appropriate team members
  • Direct late students to SIS Coordinator
  • Maintain copies of essential forms and documents for the campus
  • Organize and copy materials to ensure availability of documents
  • Communicate with Campus Lead Team and Campus Operations team to keep documents current
  • Coordinate and transfer student records confidentially to appropriate team members
  • Answer phone calls by providing general information and connecting calls
  • Maintain an updated list of phone extensions
  • Serve as liaison between parents, students, and team members
  • Communicate morning announcements
  • Exemplify IDEA core values and customer service skills
  • Provide support to lead team including student recruitment for the following school year
  • Serve as backup for Nurse/Health Aide
  • Exercise good judgment and excellent customer service
