Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of clerical experience in office setting
  • Proficient keyboarding skills
  • Effective organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow written instructions and operate multi-line phone system

Job Duties

  • Manage all front office traffic including late students, parents, and visitors
  • Ensure each visitor has appropriate credentials to enter campus site and pick up students
  • Utilize PowerSchool to locate student schedules for parent pick-ups
  • Communicate with teachers regarding student pick-ups
  • Direct visitors and late students to appropriate team members
  • Maintain copies of essential forms and documents for families and campus events
  • Copy materials to maintain document supply
  • Communicate with Campus Lead Team and Campus Ops to ensure document currency
  • Coordinate and transfer student records maintaining confidentiality
  • Collaborate with team members for record transfer procedures
  • Answer phone calls providing information and connecting to appropriate staff
  • Manage telephone extension list and updates
  • Serve as liaison between parents, students, and team members
  • Communicate morning announcements
  • Provide lead team support, including student recruitment
  • Serve as backup for Nurse/Health Aide role
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and judgment in greeting and assisting visitors
  • Answer all phone calls efficiently
