Job Description

Memorial Hospital in Shiloh is currently seeking a part-time Receptionist to join their dedicated team. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • no prior experience required
  • ability to work part-time three days per week including rotating weekends
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to provide wheelchair assistance and directions
  • basic computer skills
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • must be able to approve departmental time tracking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to provide a welcoming environment
  • basic administrative skills including typing and correspondence handling
  • ability to manage phone calls effectively
  • organizational skills for maintaining supplies and scheduling
  • preferred Basic Cardiovascular Life Support certification
  • preferred Certified Nurse Assistant certification

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors and patients
  • provide wheelchair assistance
  • direct visitors and patients to rooms or procedure locations
  • type and distribute memos, correspondence, and reports
  • schedule meetings and appointments
  • route correspondence
  • track, organize, and maintain supply inventory
  • order supplies as necessary
  • answer and screen phone calls
  • transfer calls and take messages
  • approve departmental time tracking for payroll purposes
