Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
  • typing courses completed
  • prior experience as a receptionist desirable
  • familiarity with PC and related software preferred
  • effective telephone etiquette
  • strong interpersonal communication skills
  • knowledge of filing and calendaring
  • current first aid training for staff providing direct resident care

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
  • courses in typing
  • experience as a receptionist with public contact
  • proficiency with PC and related software
  • knowledge of telephone etiquette and interpersonal communication
  • understanding of typing formats for correspondence and documents
  • ability to manage calendaring and filing systems
  • current first aid training for direct resident care staff

Job Duties

  • Operate multi-positioned telephone switchboard to relay calls
  • greet visitors and determine their needs
  • contact the proper person based on visitor or caller requests
  • answer general questions and provide information
  • perform clerical duties such as posting data, typing reports, sorting and distributing mail and messages
  • schedule and coordinate tele-conference calls
  • manage and coordinate room calendars
  • complete assignments accurately and timely as directed
