Job Duties

  • Greets all clients and visitors to the Elizabeth Layton Center
  • answers multi-line telephone system, assess calls for emergency, screen/transfer calls, and take messages as needed
  • collects fees and other pertinent information when client arrives
  • copies medical cards and insurance cards, when necessary
  • informs clinician that client has arrived
  • enters information into the appointment scheduler program
  • makes reminder calls, reschedules appointments, and back-fills provider schedules
  • orders supplies for the Ottawa location
  • obtains appropriate releases of information, when necessary
  • prepares packets for intakes and screens as necessary
  • provide evening reception coverage when needed
  • arrives for work on time
  • ability to be pleasant, friendly, and helpful to staff and visitors at all times
  • ability to retain relevant vital information and relay information to others as appropriate
  • perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designee
  • complies with ELC policies and procedures
