Job Requirements

  • H S diploma or equivalent
  • Less than 1 year experience in a business setting answering multiple line phone systems and performing general clerical duties or customer service position
  • Ability to communicate clearly, politely, accurately and tactfully
  • Can manage and screen telephone calls and deal with multiple calls simultaneously
  • Able to operate basic office equipment including typewriter or keyboard
  • Bilingual English Spanish preferred
  • Flexible to work variable shifts with weekend availability as needed

  • Proficient with basic office equipment and typing

Job Duties

  • Performs reception duties including greeting visitors and assisting patients and employees
  • Manages multi-line telephone systems by answering, screening, transferring calls, and taking messages
  • Processes incoming mail by opening, dating, sorting, and distributing it to appropriate departments
  • Performs general clerical tasks such as filing, collating, stuffing envelopes, and typing where necessary
  • Provides escorts and wayfinding assistance to visitors and patients including wheelchair transport and equipment sanitizing as needed
  • Facilitates communication between internal departments while maintaining a professional and warm organizational image
  • Supports visitation needs and other departmental assistance as assigned
