Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- one year or more experience working in healthcare preferred
- strong customer service experience considered
- passion for improving patient experience and care
- excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- ability to multitask and work under pressure
- attention to detail and organizational skills
- knowledge of MS Office
- willingness to undergo TB screening
- ability to work full-time 40 hours per week
- must be a team player with positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- minimum one year experience in healthcare or strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers
- excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- attention to detail and highly organized
- proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- teamwork and positive attitude
- knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- experience with EMR systems preferred
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Receive and correctly route incoming and outgoing telephone calls
- accommodate visitors promptly and courteously
- operate a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintain long distance call logs
- take and distribute accurate messages
- greet visitors and determine purpose of visit
- issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs
- alert appropriate parties or direct visitors to relevant offices or employees
- respond to routine inquiries about organization’s location, hours, and contact information
- book meeting rooms and manage scheduling logistics
- type, organize, and distribute mail
- receive and send courier packages
- perform basic administrative, clerical, operational, and customer support tasks
