Job Requirements

  • One year of previous customer service and receptionist experience preferred
  • ability to operate a switchboard and handle telephone calls professionally
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • capability to maintain a warm and professional demeanor
  • ability to manage multiple tasks such as visitor coordination and conference room activities
  • knowledge of security policies and procedures
  • ability to communicate effectively with internal support departments

Job Qualifications

  • Two to three years of experience in a client service or reception position within a hospitality or corporate environment
  • computer skills and knowledge of office technology and equipment

Job Duties

  • Properly greet and handle visitors with a smile and maintain eye contact
  • address guests and clients by name when possible
  • answer telephones in a friendly and professional manner
  • take messages accurately and handle or refer questions and requests appropriately
  • handle on-floor conference room activities including managing reservations and meeting details
  • implement established security policies for visitors, contractors, and delivery persons
  • act as a hospitality resource providing way-finding and amenities information
  • handle car service requests for visitors and staff
  • communicate requests to internal support departments such as building maintenance, IT, AV technology, and mail room
  • perform other duties as assigned
