Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Combination of education and relevant work experience may be accepted
- Previous clerical and customer service experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- CPR and CPI certified within 30 days of employment
- May be required to work flexible hours and overtime

Job Duties
- Greet patients and guests upon arrival and ensure their comfort
- Demonstrate excellent guest relations in communication and cooperation
- Assist patients, licensed practitioners, co-workers and visitors in a prompt and courteous manner
- Record and route telephone and in-person messages accurately, completely, and promptly
- Maintain an accurate record of visitors each day, personal belongings dropped off, visitation logs, etc.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hospital emergency code response procedures and ability to call codes through the speaker system clearly
- Route incoming mail promptly to correct departments or individuals
- Maintain awareness of highly confidential and/or important documents received at the hospital
- Assure lobby area is clean and presentable with appropriate beverages and snacks
- Assist Assessment and other departments as required
- Offer assistance to Business Development/Community Relations Department with special projects and community involvement
- Maintain professionalism in a variety of stressful situations
