Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year office experience required
- Have effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple phone calls
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel to nearby locations as needed
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
- Must comply with all State and Federal regulations
- Maintain patient confidentiality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year office experience required
- Two years medical office experience preferred
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to multitask and provide excellent customer service
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Provide superior patient care services treating all patients and guests with compassion and respect
- Greet all patients and guests with a smile and helpful manner
- Communicate effectively with patients guests colleagues and physicians
- Provide patients with necessary instructions or directions
- Process patient documentation and update patient demographics with accuracy
- Triage incoming calls promptly and pleasantly review phone messages return calls timely or direct messages appropriately
- Verify insurance and determine if prior authorizations or referrals are needed for appointments
- Close out daily batches promptly and accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized waiting room and work area
- Travel to surrounding offices for front desk coverage when needed
- Adhere to policies procedures ethical principles and patient confidentiality
- Comply with State and Federal regulations
- Perform other assigned duties based on business needs
