Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year office experience required
  • Have effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple phone calls
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel to nearby locations as needed
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
  • Must comply with all State and Federal regulations
  • Maintain patient confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year office experience required
  • Two years medical office experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and provide excellent customer service
  • Familiarity with insurance verification processes
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Job Duties

  • Provide superior patient care services treating all patients and guests with compassion and respect
  • Greet all patients and guests with a smile and helpful manner
  • Communicate effectively with patients guests colleagues and physicians
  • Provide patients with necessary instructions or directions
  • Process patient documentation and update patient demographics with accuracy
  • Triage incoming calls promptly and pleasantly review phone messages return calls timely or direct messages appropriately
  • Verify insurance and determine if prior authorizations or referrals are needed for appointments
  • Close out daily batches promptly and accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized waiting room and work area
  • Travel to surrounding offices for front desk coverage when needed
  • Adhere to policies procedures ethical principles and patient confidentiality
  • Comply with State and Federal regulations
  • Perform other assigned duties based on business needs
