Job Requirements

- ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- basic computer skills
- ability to handle confidential information
- must be dependable and punctual
Job Qualifications

- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- proficiency in telephone and scheduling systems
- ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- experience in a healthcare or customer service environment is a plus
Job Duties
- Manage all phases of the patient encounter
- verify and or update patient contact information and deliver charts to designated location prior to patient visit
- answer incoming telephone calls and follow-up with no-show appointments as needed
- receive, record, and relay incoming messages to appropriate personnel timely
- collect copays and balances, maintain log sheets, and balance at the end of the day
- perform other related duties as assigned
