- previous experience in ambulatory care setting
- basic knowledge of computer operations
- ability to handle patient information confidentiality
- good interpersonal skills
- ability to work full time during day shift
- proficiency with scheduling and billing systems
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- training in general medical office skills and procedures preferred
- knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- one to two years of experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
- ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- strong communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Performs clerical functions in ambulatory care setting
- handles reception duties and scheduling
- manages patient financial accounts
- assists in coordinating primary health care services
- operates telephone and computer systems
- posts basic account and billing information
- files medical and administrative documents
