Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- one year clerical experience in office setting
- bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
- proficient keyboarding skills
- excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Receives and directs incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff
- greets and directs campus visitors, maintains visitor log, and issues visitor passes when required
- assists parents in checking students in and out of school
- assists with scheduling or teacher conferences as required
- receives, sorts, and distributes mail, messages, documents, and other deliveries
- assists with the receipt and distribution of student materials, including homework requests and grade reports
- assists with preparation of materials for mailing, including preparing labels, stuffing envelopes, etc.
- maintains computerized files using personal computer, including reports, employee roster, and mailing list
- serves as primary staff and student attendance monitor
- prepares attendance reports for principal
- gathers staff absent from duty forms, substitute requests, doctor excuses student absences and early dismissals, etc.
- assists secretary with paraprofessional timekeeping, in and out punches
- performs other duties as assigned
