Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a multi-task environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Self-directed and flexible with strong team commitment
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Willingness to learn and train others
Job Qualifications
- Completion of high school or equivalency
- Knowledge of working effectively with diverse populations and various age groups
- Ability to function in a multi-task environment
- Demonstrated teamwork, initiative and willingness to learn
- Possess interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs such as Word and Excel
- Willingness to instruct others and be open to new learning experiences
Job Duties
- Handle all incoming telephone activity including answering phones promptly according to protocol
- Record messages thoroughly, accurately, and legibly and initial messages
- Telephone select participants on scheduled Center days to confirm attendance
- Notify Center Manager and Transportation Manager or Dispatcher of participants' non-attendance
- Monitor all activity in and out of the center
- Supervise the front entrance to prevent participants from leaving unattended
- Prepare weekly schedules for team assessments, discussions, care plans, enrollments, cancellations, staff off days, hospitalizations, appointments, and monthly reviews as needed
- Monitor participant attendance and confirm with dietary and recreational therapy and enter information into TruChart
