Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to walk and or stand for the entire work shift
  • willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs, occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs
  • fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • willingness to wear gloves for prolonged periods due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
  • one or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful

Job Duties

  • Answer phones and greet all visitors to the facility including new and repeat donors promptly exhibiting customer service skills
  • assist donors with appointments
  • create or pull donor record files
  • provide customer service to donors and fellow employees
  • maintain orderly filing system, purging records
  • report to the center management team in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement
  • initiate changes to center processes through use of company approved procedures
