Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of relevant experience in office administration or customer service
  • Maintain Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or obtain it as a condition of employment
  • Pass criminal background check
  • Ability to lift 25 to 30 pounds
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Ability to work with computer and phone systems for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in office administration, customer service, records management, basic accounting, or business administration
  • Combination of education from an accredited college or university and work experience may substitute for the required experience
  • Ability to interact professionally with diverse customers and coworkers
  • Proficiency in basic office tasks and communication
  • Good moral character with no felony convictions

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors with a positive and helpful attitude
  • Assist visitors in navigating the office and announce visitors when necessary
  • Maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges and maintaining visitor logs
  • Answer phones professionally and route calls appropriately
  • Take and send messages and screen phone calls
  • Assist with administrative tasks including copying, faxing, and taking notes
  • Sort and distribute mail
