Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent desirable
- Perform mathematical calculations accurately and at a 12th grade level
- Proficiency in keyboard and data entry skills and ability to use ten-key calculator preferably by touch
- Reading, comprehension and writing ability at 12th grade level or higher
- Knowledge of and ability to operate and maintain equipment including fax machine, calculator, photocopier, telephone, computer, and printer
- Ability to perform repetitive motion with use of computer and typing
- Ability to promote teamwork in providing services to residents
- Ability to sit for extended periods up to 2-3 hours
- Willingness and ability to learn computer programs used in this community
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organizational skills

Job Duties
- Organize office functions and flow of communication
- Edit written documents to ensure correct spelling and grammar
- Maintain office supplies and identify needed supplies to supervisor
- Collect all rent and service fees by designated date and ensure deposit in bank as specified by supervisor
- Maintain reservations for guest room
- Assist staff in providing and coordinating services to residents, families, prospects, and guests
- Answer telephones and respond to residents’ requests
- Assist with resident activities as requested
- Assist in dining room as needed
- Report on-the-job injuries to supervisor before end of work shift
- Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to resident and community operations
- Welcome, determine nature of business, direct, register, and announce all guests and visitors to appropriate personnel or resident
- Provide continual face-to-face communication with residents and families as source of information for all community activities and events
- Take transportation requests, maintain transportation log and drive as needed
- Answer multiline telephone system and direct callers
- Respond to emergency situations and serve as point of contact
- Make reservations and maintain schedules for guest suites
- Receive payments for rent fees, activities, and events
- Receive mail and packages and ensure accurate timely distribution
- Update and maintain resident family emergency contact list
- Process clubhouse reservations for private events and guest suites
- Receive requests for maintenance and housekeeping services
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, typing, data entry
- Ensure reception area and clubhouse are kept neat and clean
- Notify Director when items need to be ordered and maintain office and kitchen supplies
- Assist with activities and events as needed
- Other duties as assigned
