Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • minimum typing speed of 40 to 50 words per minute preferred
  • knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and online rating programs preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet office visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • answer phones, route callers, and take/deliver messages in a timely manner
  • sort incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail daily
  • log incoming cash receipts from the mail daily
  • manage office supply inventory and place supply orders as needed
  • send office-wide email communications as needed
  • support the Commercial Lines department with tasks such as ICR task setup for Middle Market accounts, retrieving policy documents from carrier websites and updating AMS and ImageRight, ordering and filing loss runs and submission folders, processing completed ICRs, preparing proposals using the Core Commercial template, checking and sending out direct bill policy endorsements and audits, updating AMS with contact information, reviewing download queue and assigning tasks, obtaining online quotes for flood policies, sending out policies and creating tasks for Patra policy checking, issuing certificates and evidence of property, following up on open tasks for endorsement or policy receipt, obtaining premium finance quotes from First Insurance Funding, performing other duties as assigned
