Job Duties
- Assist Administrative Assistant and Executive Director as appropriate
- respond competently to all emergencies as directed
- demonstrate basic understanding of emergency call system and nurse paging system
- greet visitors immediately upon arrival
- professionally handle all phone calls and route callers or answer questions in a timely and courteous manner
- determine visitors needs in a timely manner
- offer refreshments to visitors where applicable
- gather pertinent information from visitors
- greet all residents, associates, and visitors with a warm smile and pleasant tone of voice
- respond to resident requests in a timely manner
- manage doctor appointment book
- manage beauty and barber appointment book
- act as concierge for residents including calling taxis and handling telephone or cable problems
- keep lobby clean and neat, free of clutter and trash
- oversee common bathroom and report soilages to housekeeping
- report any malfunctioning equipment to maintenance
- promptly forward inquiry calls to Marketing or designee
- properly document and respond to marketing inquiries
- assist the Community Sales Team with sales and marketing programs and initiatives
- represent the community positively when interacting with potential residents and families
- participate in in-service trainings as required by state regulations
- assist with clerical work for all departments
