Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- two years experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in healthcare
- CPR certified and renewal every two years
- valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- TB and Handle with Care training within 90 days of hire
- ability to work occasional overtime and flexible hours
- bilingual skills a plus
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- two years experience operating multi-line telephone switchboards
- CPR certified with up-to-date renewal
- knowledge of VOIP switchboard and paging systems
- effective oral and written communication skills
- ability to prioritize and organize workloads
- proficiency in basic business office software
- ability to work in fast-paced and emergency environments
Job Duties
- Operate multi-line telephone switchboard using VOIP systems
- manage incoming and outgoing calls efficiently
- execute hospital paging procedures accurately
- adhere to all hospital code procedures
- maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information
- coordinate communication between hospital departments and staff
- respond calmly and effectively to emergency situations
