Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum one year experience in customer service or healthcare environment
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with MS Office applications
- ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset
- ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- willingness to comply with Tuberculosis screening program requirements
- availability to work full-time 40 hours per week
- passion for contributing to health-focused organizational goals
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one year or more experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers considered
- excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- highly organized with attention to detail
- knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- passion for contributing to patient experience improvement
- team player with a positive attitude
- value-based care model experience preferred
- knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- experience with EMR systems preferred
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Receive and route incoming and outgoing telephone calls accurately and courteously
- accommodate visitors by greeting them and determining the nature of their visit
- issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs
- alert appropriate parties of visitor arrivals or direct visitors to appropriate offices or departments
- respond to routine inquiries regarding location, hours, phone numbers, and email addresses
- operate a switchboard or multi-line phone system and maintain long distance call logs
- take and distribute accurate messages
- perform basic administrative tasks including booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages
- work under close supervision within established policies and guidelines
- multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- maintain attention to detail and organization
- support customer service efforts focusing on improving patient experiences and care
