Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

Job Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to use computer, keyboard, telephone, and office devices
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of applicants and employees, including those with limited English proficiency
- Experience in receptionist or customer service role preferred
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for all job applicants and visitors to the Workforce Center, many of whom are native Spanish speakers
- Provide accurate information, instructions and guidance in both English and Spanish to support applicants through the hiring process
- Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
- Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
- Answer questions about organization and provide callers with address, directions, and other information
- Create and print fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, job listings, telephone reports, and other documents when necessary
- Maintain anything pertaining to Federal Express and prepares daily reports
