Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of experience in an office setting
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to manage multi-line phone systems
  • strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Answering, screening and routing incoming calls on multiple lines
  • typing letters and memos accurately with no typos
  • managing incoming and outgoing mail including distribution to staff
  • maintaining up-to-date member information files
  • greeting new members, caregivers and other center visitors at sign in
  • ensuring all employees sign in/out of the center as they arrive/depart
  • preparing daily paperwork and forms including member tags, menus, employee meal signups and meeting documents
  • updating and maintaining the Senior CALL system
  • providing monthly information for the member newsletter
  • maintaining RSVPs for scheduled events
