Job Requirements
- High diploma or GED required
- Two years administrative experience
- Experience as receptionist administrative assistant or front desk may substitute for education
- Knowledge of business English spelling and grammar
- Knowledge of office practices and procedures
- Effective communication both verbal and written
- Computer familiarity
- Bilingual preferred

Job Duties
- Serve as primary receptionist for the Port St. Lucie facility including answering multi-line phones greeting visitors and providing front-desk support
- Assist with planning decorating and preparing for holiday functions themed events and special programs
- Perform secretarial and administrative duties such as organizing files data entry preparing correspondence maintaining records and other office tasks as assigned
- Proficient in basic computer programs including Microsoft Office email calendars and data entry
- Assist the Administrative Manager with proper coverage for the reception area
- Be available for daily opening and closing of the facility and special events as scheduled
- Accurately code enter and prepare for deposit incoming cash and checks on a weekly basis
- Assist with preparations for the weekly bingo fundraiser work with volunteers involved in the event and be present for the Wednesday Bingo fundraiser
- Prepare coordinate and schedule each month’s calendar of events for clients at both locations
- Coordinate with the medical community for health screenings and seminars
- Assist with the organization scheduling and preparation of activity rooms for events for the Senior Centers for daily engagement opportunities
- Work with the marketing staff member and the meal program to develop information on upcoming events and to schedule speakers and activities
- Coordinate with volunteers for senior programs such as chair exercise bingo art etc and complete and provide a volunteer tracking report on a biweekly basis
- Perform duties under the direction of the President CEO during declared disasters or emergencies as prescribed by the COASL Disaster Preparedness Plan
- Display initiative in presenting supervisors with new ideas to benefit the company its staff and its clients
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times with supervisors co-workers clients and the general public
- Other duties as required by the Administrative Manager
