Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new applications as required
  • Copies of updated clearances including FBI fingerprint and criminal background will be required upon hiring

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
  • Comfortable multitasking and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Practicing Catholic who understands, supports, and advances the mission of the Catholic Church and the Parish
  • Experience with administrative support preferred

Job Duties

  • Answering the parish office phones and door
  • Managing parish calendars with accuracy and foresight
  • Scheduling mass intentions
  • Selling scrip gift cards
  • Recording and maintaining sacramental records and books
  • Liaison with parish departments and parish volunteer groups to schedule and coordinate events, campaigns, and fundraisers
  • Advertise parish and preschool events and coordinate with bulletin editor, webpage editor, and social media coordinator
  • Ordering and maintaining inventory for liturgical, office, and maintenance supplies
  • Filing
  • Providing general administrative support to the parish office
  • Projects as assigned
  • Assumption of ownership and maintenance of parish database once the parish transitions to a new database system in 2026
  • Enter weekly offertory, second collection, and other various contributions into parish database
