Job Requirements

  • Ability to attend in-service training sessions regularly

Job Duties

  • Manages the telephone and switchboard
  • Operates paging/telephone system as required
  • Answers calls timely and courteously
  • Directs calls promptly and accurately
  • Assists visitors upon arrival to the facility by greeting them courteously and providing directions or contacting staff
  • Ensures all visitors/vendors sign in
  • Demonstrates customer service skills in every interaction both via phone and in person
  • Maintains a neat and orderly work area
  • Performs clerical duties such as mail handling, filing, preparing informational packets, data entry, and ordering supplies
  • Attends in-service education programs to meet facility educational requirements
  • Maintains confidentiality of resident and facility information
  • Protects residents from neglect, mistreatment, and abuse
  • Protects the personal property of residents
  • Performs other duties as directed by supervisor or administrator
