Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Capable of comprehending and implementing instructions concerning operation of mechanical equipment such as generators, air conditioners, fire protection equipment, and emergency equipment
Must attain and maintain current CPR/First Aid certification
Valid state driver’s license required
Must be insurable through company’s vehicle insurance policy
U.S. citizenship required
Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to hire date
Must pass background screening including SSN, driver record, and criminal background investigation
Ability to assist in lifting/carrying 50lb
Frequent and prolonged sitting, standing, kneeling, or climbing ladders/steps
May be required to operate forklift, pallet stacker, or pallet jack

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Capable of comprehending and implementing instructions for mechanical equipment operation
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Valid state driver’s license
Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance
Experience in security or access control preferred but not required

Job Duties

Provide safekeeping of facilities and equipment and safeguarding of sensitive information
Control building access and perform physical security checks
Restrict access to facilities to authorized personnel
Maintain current access roster
Maintain log of all personnel entering or leaving the facilities
Comprehend and implement instructions concerning operation of mechanical equipment such as generators, air conditioners, fire protection equipment, and emergency equipment
Answer telephone calls and use paging system
Receive packages
Perform all security duties assigned under limited supervision utilizing developed instructions
Issue badges to cleared contractor employees, government employees, and visitors with valid Visit Authorization Request (VAR)
Access JPAS to check available data
Contact designated station personnel in case of alarm or emergency following proper procedures
Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested
