Job Duties
- Greet arriving personnel, clients, and visitors and serve as an initial point of contact
- Answer incoming calls, route calls to the appropriate parties, and take accurate messages
- Demonstrate high standards of verbal and written communication, courtesy, and professionalism when answering all calls and when interacting with all personnel, clients, vendors, and guests of the firm
- Receive visitors, obtain their names and the nature of their business, and direct them to appropriate individuals within the firm
- Reserve visiting attorney offices via @ Sidley
- Complete check-in process of onsite vendors and visitors
- Schedule conference rooms using EMS and maintain log of schedule
- Manage the data for meetings, conference room reservations, and other appointments
- Maintain the physical upkeep and aesthetic appeal of lobbies, hallways, conference rooms, reception areas, coffee stations, conference center kitchen
- Inform visitors of parking instructions for buildings
- Conduct monthly fire extinguisher inspection and emergency survival kit inspections
- Assist with in-office catered events
- Know, understand, and work in accordance with the provisions of the Sidley Staff Policy and Procedures Manuals
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or as judgment or necessity dictates
