Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Moderate mental demand with continuous attention required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and distinctly in English and Spanish
  • Ability to manage difficult visitor situations professionally
  • Basic computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to translate accurately between English and Spanish
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and shift priorities
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Semi-repetitive low physical demand work

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience in administrative or receptionist roles
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Bilingual ability in Spanish preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage high-pressure situations
  • Experience with contact management and software databases
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Manage recruitment reports and respond to inquiries from current and potential students
  • Collaborate with Recruitment and Retention Specialists to monitor student enrollment and identify pathways to successful enrollment
  • Make phone calls to potential students, chronically tardy or absent students and notify Director and Recruitment Specialists of outcomes
  • Professionally answer phones in a timely manner, take messages and route calls to appropriate personnel, screen calls for the superintendent, directors, and teachers
  • Professionally greet visitors and guests, ascertain business and direct to proper location or personnel
  • Conduct tours for potential students
  • Prepare documents using Word and Excel as directed
  • Maintain employee sign-in/out log and visitor sign-in log, issue visitor badges
  • Perform miscellaneous duties such as signing for deliveries and informing recipients
  • Coordinate scheduling for back-up relief and advise supervisor on scheduling conflicts
  • Support students, teachers, life coaches, and staff with translation needs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
