Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One to three months' related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with switchboards and telephone answering etiquette
- Ability to obtain a Type 1 fingerprint card
- Reliable transportation for getting to and from work
- Ability to work flexible hours with no set schedule
- Basic computer proficiency

- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting
- Ability to handle multiple calls and inquiries efficiently
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
Job Duties
- Greet all residents and visitors at facility in a friendly, cheerful and professional manner
- Maintain a neat personal appearance and dress appropriately
- Maintain all required daily reports and log all incidents and activities that take place during the shift
- Monitor and respond to all emergency security systems
- Prepare Unusual Occurrence Reports when applicable
- Schedule transportation to doctor, dentist, and business appointments for residents and inform Transportation when valet parking is needed
- Dispatch messages via radio to various departments as requested
- Perform Customer Services Desk services including guest room reservations, accept and dispense packages, prescriptions, flowers etc., operate multiple-line telephone, record resident's change of status
- Record all irregularities or needed repairs observed or reported during the shift
- Submit Work Order if necessary
- Assist other departments with typing, copying, sorting, etc., as needed and as time allows
- Work agreed-upon schedule with minimal absences in accordance with the attendance policy, and perform routine tasks without close supervision
- Put team success ahead of individual interests
- contribute to teamwork by demonstrating a will-do attitude and by working cooperatively with others, including other departments
- See what needs to be done and accomplish it, go beyond the basic requirements and take an ownership attitude toward the facility
- Be friendly and helpful with residents and keep a positive spirit and a well-groomed personal appearance in representing the facility
