Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of related experience and/or training preferred
- Ability to perform various and multiple tasks effectively
- Strong telephone skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience with recordkeeping
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Bilingual a plus

Job Duties
- Greet and direct all customers seeking services and/or information from New Opportunities
- Welcome, inform, and direct all visitors, calls, and customers courteously and efficiently
- Ensure that all visitors including community leaders and officials feel welcomed and well received
- Direct visitors to sign in and call the person with whom they are meeting or an assigned contact if unavailable
- Contact appropriate departments to manage unplanned visitor appointments or follow-up communications
- Maintain an organized and professional reception area to assist visitors in a timely and businesslike manner
- Maintain visitor logs and provide summary information as requested
- Direct visitors to elevators and bathroom facilities as needed
