Job Duties
- Greet and direct all customers seeking services and/or information from NOI
- Welcome, inform, and direct all visitors, calls, and customers in a courteous and expeditious manner
- Ensure that all customers, community leaders, and officials feel welcomed and well received by the agency
- Direct visitors to sign in and call the person with whom they are meeting
- Contact assigned staff or contact person if the designated staff member is unavailable
- Contact appropriate departments if a visitor appears without an appointment to determine if the visitor can be seen or needs to leave information
- Maintain and organize the reception area to assist customers and visitors in an orderly, pleasant, timely, and business-like manner
- Maintain a visitor log and provide summary information as requested
- Direct visitors to elevators and bathroom facilities as appropriate
