Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Two years' experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard
- Preferably experience in a healthcare environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in data entry and clerical duties
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 4:30pm to 11:00pm
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Two years' experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a healthcare environment
- Any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment preferred
Job Duties
- Greet patients, visitors, and staff at the front desk
- Check in patients for assessments
- Answer multi-line telephone switchboard and route calls appropriately
- Accept and direct incoming deliveries
- Provide clerical support and assist with various clerical projects
- Maintain the appearance of the lobby and triage rooms
- Enter patient admissions, discharges, and physician/bed/unit transfers in the data processing system
