Job Requirements
- must have at least one year of administrative assistant or receptionist experience
- must have at least one year of customer service experience
- must have at least one year of law enforcement experience
- must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
- knowledge of telephone procedures
- proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, Word Perfect and Adobe Acrobat Professional
Job Qualifications
- one year of administrative assistant or receptionist work preferred
- one year of customer service work preferred
- one year of law enforcement work preferred
- ability to use MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, Word Perfect and Adobe Acrobat Professional
- effective communication skills
- ability to review a wide variety of legal correspondence
- ability to meet established deadlines and work as a team player in a professional manner
Job Duties
- provides a variety of direct support assistance services to serviced AUSA and support staff
- answers incoming calls promptly and directs calls to the appropriate staff members
- delivers messages in a timely manner
- answers most routine questions and has knowledge of telephone procedures
- informs staff of urgent calls upon receipt
- receives visitors and notifies staff of their arrival
- opens, sorts and distributes incoming mail
- maintains postage machine, outgoing mail, and packages including courier services
- receives incoming packages and deliveries and promptly notifies appropriate staff
- performs other job-related duties as assigned
