Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
  • must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills
  • previous experience working in long term care or healthcare facility a plus
  • ability to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
  • some availability and flexibility to work during week when needed preferred
  • must be able to pass background check and drug screen

Job Duties

  • Provide ongoing telephone coverage
  • take employee lunch/dinner orders
  • solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met, as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately
  • keep difficult situations from escalating
  • accept delivery packages, document receipt of packages in log book, and notify the resident (recipient) of delivery
  • distribute mail
  • prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
  • assist the Administrator with projects/assignments
