Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- basic computer skills

- able to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications

- excellent communication skills
- basic computer proficiency including familiarity with office equipment
- ability to manage multi-line phone systems

- ability to provide friendly and professional customer service
- prior experience in administrative or receptionist roles is a plus

Job Duties
- Greet visitors, firefighters, and other personnel in a friendly and professional manner
- answer incoming phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel
- maintain a clean and organized front office area
- maintain regular and reliable attendance
- coordinate meeting room usage for the Administrative Operations Center
- maintain office supply inventory for Administrative Operations Center
- order supplies and schedule repairs/maintenance for copy machines, as well as ensure equipment is stocked with paper daily
- operate computers and standard office equipment such as copiers and multi-line phone systems
- assist with data entry, filing and record-keeping tasks
- prepare and distribute internal and external correspondence, including emails and letters
- provide general information to the public regarding fire department services, procedures, and community programs
- ensure visitors are directed to the appropriate department or personnel
- distribute mail
- collaborate with department staff to ensure seamless operations
- communicate effectively with colleagues to assist in the resolution of inquiries and issues
