Job Requirements

  • must have bachelor of science or bachelor of arts degree preferred
  • must have over 2 years experience in customer service environment providing guest hosting, concierge or reception services
  • must have experience working in corporate environment in concierge, host, or reception role
  • must be IT literate including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • must have excellent verbal communication skills
  • must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • must be able to remain calm and communicate effectively under pressure
  • must be customer focused and organized
  • must be able to work in a team environment
  • must be professional and confident in communication with peers and executives

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Welcome visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone
  • answer or refer inquiries
  • provide an exceptional customer service experience to all colleagues and guests visiting the site
  • ensure guests are greeted courteously and their needs are anticipated at all times
  • direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories
  • give instructions as needed
  • maintain security by following procedures
  • monitor logbook
  • issue visitor badges
  • conduct monthly headcounts and space confirmations
  • ensure consistent communication with various departments about client and guest arrivals and departures
  • maintain telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation
  • answer incoming phone inquiries
  • instantly recognize and greet key customer personnel, executives and their guests
  • maintain safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • provide swift resolution to any challenges experienced by guests or colleagues
  • document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
  • maintain personal awareness of all site and team procedures
  • ensure the reception desk is constantly manned and kept immaculate and tidy
  • contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
