Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year or more experience in healthcare or customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and computer applications
  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures
  • Willingness to undergo tuberculosis screening as part of employment
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week

Job Qualifications

  • One year or more of experience in healthcare setting preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service background accepted including retail, hospitality, call centers
  • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Preferred experience with value-based care model
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Job Duties

  • Operate switchboard and multi-line phone system
  • Maintain long-distance call logs
  • Greet visitors and determine nature of visit
  • Issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs
  • Alert appropriate party of visitor arrival or direct visitors accordingly
  • Respond to routine inquiries from internal and external sources
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, mail organization, and handling courier packages
