Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- one to two years related work experience
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications
- excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- operate office equipment such as fax machines, scanners, copiers, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications
- answer telephones with pleasant demeanor using approved greetings, give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals
- greet persons entering establishment with pleasant demeanor using required greetings, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations or appropriate persons
- mail newsletters, promotional material, or other information/documents using computer, mail, or facsimile machine to ensure timely receipt of information
- organize and maintain reported maintenance work orders received from residents and staff upon receipt
- perform administrative support tasks including typing, formatting, proofreading, recommending revisions on documents and making copies of correspondence or other printed material
- distribute incoming mail or other materials on day received and prepare outgoing mail for next scheduled pickup
- maintain confidentiality of resident, staff personnel, and employment information
- schedule space or equipment for special programs, meetings, or events
- respond to the Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) when a page is received because a resident activated their emergency button, assess the situation and call 911 if necessary
- attend and participate in appropriate meetings and training opportunities
- follow established policies and procedures including Presbyterian Villages policies, safety policies, federal, state and local regulations
- perform all other duties as assigned
